18.11.2022: leather.head, Joy-Rides, Gross Misconduct at Dulwich Hamlet FC

Another Subculture and DHFC Gigs are coming together to bring you a night down the clubhouse.

Come see leather.head (spiky rhythmic jazz punks, think This Heat), Joy-Rides (annual gig, indie friendship supergroup) and Gross Misconduct (first gig, “landfill punk”, members of Milky, Strong Arm, Killjoys) at Dulwich Hamlet Football Club (Champion Hill Stadium) on Friday 18th November.

  • Doors at 19:00, done by 23:00.
  • Tickets are £8.80 (waged), £4.40 (unwaged/Universal Credit) including booking fee, and are available here.
  • We’ll have some free masks and hand sanitiser available for anyone who wants them, and of course we highly recommend that you take a lateral flow just in case, and to give it a miss if you are experiencing COVID-like symptoms.
  • Champion Hill Stadium is five minutes from East Dulwich station (Southern services to/from London Bridge and Croydon) and buses including P13, 37, 48, 42, 176, 185 and 484. SE22 8BD is the postcode; if all else fails head towards the big Sainsbury’s.

I should say as well, we will be streaming the gig once again – live on the YouTube channel, more details to come.

Looking forward to this one – DHFC have put on Chubby and the Gang, Megaflora and Sniffany & The Nits in the past year and the bar is well stocked and friendly. Had no idea that Leatherhead are a fierce rival to the football club proper before booking this, honest.

(And also, welcome to the new and improved website – this blog function will host archive picks and announcements, and I have hopefully removed the need for Bigcartel, sweet relief. Feedback please and get to the gig…)
