Description
A zine created for Scunny Zine Fest, flicking through the microfilm archives of the Evening Telegraph and seeing where the punks were. As you can expect, we go from amusement at a new fad to tabloid outrage pretty quickly, but it’s after the noise and fury where bands of teenagers come through to make their own scene: the bands from the Scunny compilation Household Shocks (One Gang Logic, Urbantech, Fault 151, Product of Reason) along with groups that I would love to hear the tapes before they disintegrate (Germ Warfare, Social Disease, X-Cert). A taste of home, and I recommend you get into your local paper’s online archive and get those keywords in…
Printed digitally, 16 pages, staple bound. Edition of 70. Price includes postage.
